Bihar Free Land: Investors will be provided grants up to Rs 40 crore. Free land will be allocated to promote investment under the new industrial package.
Bihar free land: The Bihar government on Tuesday announced a new policy, under which those investing in the industrial sector will be provided free land and a grant of up to Rs 40 crore. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar (Nitish Kumar) Said that ‘Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Package 2025 (BIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP will promote and provide employment to about 1 crore youth in the next five years. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said in a post that to encourage industries in Bihar, the government has implemented the new Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Package 2025 (BIPPP-2025) after BIADA Amnesty Policy 2025. Under this, interest grant of up to Rs 40 crore will be provided to investors. Free land allocation will be done to promote investment under the new industrial package.
10 acres of land free
Land up to 10 acres will be allocated free to industrial units who invest more than Rs 100 crore and create more than 1,000 direct employment. Industrial units investing more than Rs 1,000 crore will be allotted land up to 25 acres free of cost. Fortune 500 companies will be allotted land up to 10 acres of land free of cost. Investors will have to apply before March 31, 2026 to get benefits under this industrial package. This new industrial package will help provide employment to 1 crore youth in 5 years. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that the objective of this initiative is to further promote industries in Bihar, to make the youth of the state efficient and self -reliant, enable them to get maximum employment in the state and secure their future.
Subsidy will be available up to 30 percent
He said that the reimbursement of pure state goods and service tax (SGST) up to 300 percent of the approved project cost for new units will be provided for 14 years, 30 percent subsidy will be provided and the limit of export incentive will be Rs 40 lakh per year for a period of 14 years. And assistance for patent registration and quality certification will be provided. Nitish Kumar said that continuous development works are being done in the state. Employment opportunities are also being provided for the youth. The government has given millions of government jobs.
