The Income Tax Department has sent a notice and asked to deposit Rs 10.5 crore. Vishnu Kumar Prajapat, a young man who is selling his livelihood by selling earthen utensils, says that he has no knowledge of such transactions nor has any connection. He doubted that someone had misused his identity.
In this notice of March 11, it has been alleged that Vishnu had done a transaction of Rs 10.61 crore with a person named Surendra Singh Babel during the financial year 2020-21. However, Vishnu said that he never met this person nor did he ever listen to it. After receiving the notice, Vishnu made rounds of income tax offices in Bundi and Kota several times, but he did not get any relief. Troubled, he lodged a complaint at the cyber police station in Bundi.
GST registration was cheated in the name of the victim on 19 March 2020
After the complaint, the police has started investigating the case. Vishnu said that when he examined the websites of the Income Tax and GST department, it was found that GST was cheated on 19 March 2020 with a fraud. This registration was done for a firm called Bhumika Trading in Girgaon, Mumbai.
Vishnu claims that an unknown person used their base, PAN and other individual documents to set up a firm and transact. The records show that the fraud firm made financial transactions worth Rs 2.83 crore with another private limited company, whose names of two directors are publicly available online.

Vishnu says that he has no relation with this company or transaction. Role has been canceled by the GST registration department for Trading due to non -filing returns. The financial transactions allegedly under consideration took place between March 19, 2020 and 1 February 2021. In this period, Vishnu has expressed complete ignorance about any such activities.
