10th class student commits suicide by jumping in front of metro train

Rajendra Nagar Student Suicide: A 10th class student committed suicide by jumping in front of a metro train in Rajendra Nagar, Delhi. The student had written a suicide note, in which he has accused the teachers of harassing him.

Rajendra Nagar Student Suicide: In Delhi, once again a child committed suicide after being fed up of school harassment. A 10th class student committed suicide by jumping in front of a metro train in Delhi’s Rajendra Nagar. Before dying, the student had written a suicide note, in which he has accused the school teachers of mentally torturing him. The father of the deceased student alleged that the school teachers were continuously harassing his son, the harassment increased so much that he committed suicide. Delhi Police has registered an FIR against the school based on the complaint of family members and is investigating the matter.

Pain expressed in suicide note

Police further said that a suicide note was found in the student’s school bag. In the suicide note, the student has blamed the school for his suicide and has apologized to his family. He has also expressed his desire to donate his organs. The student wrote, ‘Please get justice done so that no child in the future has to suffer like me.’ The father told that a teacher had been threatening his son for several days that she would issue his transfer certificate. He also pushed the student in the class, when he fell, she said that he was overacting and doing drama. He insulted the student in the entire class. After this the teacher said that no matter how much he cries, it doesn’t matter to him. The principal was also present there at that time, but she did not say anything.

Police gave information

Police said, “On November 18, when the father had gone to Kolhapur for his mother’s treatment, his son left for school as usual at 7:15 am. At around 2:45 pm, he received a call informing him that his son had fallen from the Rajendra Place metro station and was taken to the hospital. The family later learned that the boy was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.” The police have started recording the statements of the deceased’s classmates, family members and all the teachers.

Death of student in Palghar

Similarly, in Palghar, Maharashtra, a class 6 student died after being harassed by her teacher. The girl was allegedly forced to do 100 sit-ups after reaching school late on November 8. Her mother has alleged that the girl died due to “inhuman punishment” given by her teacher. The teacher had forced the student to do sit-ups with a school bag on her back. The officer said the 13-year-old girl had health issues and could not bear the punishment. She became ill and was taken to a hospital in Mumbai, where she died after seven days. The police arrested the teacher on Tuesday night.
