New Delhi: May 30 was an important occasion for the National Defense Academy (NDA). On that day, the first batch of 17 women cadets was among the 336 cadets to pass out of the academy, symbolizing the conclusion of the 148th Course – Spring Term 2025. On May 30, a total of 1,341 cadets, including 336 from the passing out course, attended the passing out parade at the prestigious Khetrapal Parade Ground in Khadkwasla, Maharashtra.
Parade concludes with military performance
Mizoram Governor General (Dr.) VK Singh (retired) was present on the occasion as a review officer. In the passing out parade, cadets performed brilliantly of their military skills. President’s gold medal to Prince Raj
‘G’ squadron academy Cadet Captain Udayveer Singh Negi led the parade with military accuracy. In honor of the exemplary performance, the review officer awarded the gold medal of the President to the Battalion Cadet Adjutant Prince Raj, the Academy Cadet Captain Udayveer Singh Negi to the President’s silver medal and the President’s Bronze Medal Battalion Cadet Captain Tejas Bhatt. Golf squadron was awarded the prestigious Chief of Staff Banners for overall excellence. The program concluded with a grand flypt. In which Super Dimona motorized glider, Sukhoi-30 fighter aircraft and flag-wing Chetak helicopter flew, which symbolized the end of training and the next phase of the cadets military trips.
Serving and retired workers were also involved in the program
School children, citizens and retired personnel of the Armed Forces were involved in this program. Spring Term 2025 Passing Out Parade is a glorious proof of the academy to prepare future military personalities, which is now rich in inclusion of women cadets fixed to serve the nation with respect and valor. The program had historical significance, as it passed out the first batch of 17 women cadets from the academy, which is a transformative achievement in the legacy of NDA’s nation building.
