Purnia Accident: Purnia’s station manager Munna Kumar said that the incident took place on Katihar-Jogbani railway block at around 4 am. Kumar said that some youth were trying to cross the tracks.
Purnia Accident: In Purnia district of Bihar, four people died and another was injured when he was hit by Vande Bharat train while crossing the tracks on Friday. Station Manager of Purnia Junction Munna Kumar said that the incident took place on Katihar-Jogbani railway block at around 4 am. Kumar said that some youth were trying to cross the tracks. Due to darkness and cloudy, they could not see the train coming at a fast pace on time. He informed that the only surviving person has been admitted to Purnia Medical College for treatment. It is said that the age of the dead was between 14 and 18 years. A crowd of people gathered around. Here, as soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating. Police sent the body of four youths for postmortem.

The injured are being treated at Purnia GMCH. Local people said that five people were cut off after being hit by Vande Bharat train near Kasba Jabanpur in Katihar Jogbani railway block. The speed of the train was so fast that people did not get any chance to recover or run away. The collision was so tremendous that the bodies of four people were found on the track in a mutilated state. Soon after the incident, there was a shout and chaos in the area. The identity of any deceased who lost his life in the accident has not been done till the news is written. Local people say that it seems that the five youths were returning after seeing the fair of Durgapuja. During this time an accident has happened.

The accident remains a big challenge for the police. The only seriously injured only person has been admitted to Purnia Medical College cum Hospital in a hurry. The team of doctors is making every effort to save his life, but the condition remains worrying. People were scared to see the scene of death on the Katihar-Jogbani railway track. Everyone present at the scene was sad. These people were as excited as Vande Bharat train started, today they are equally sad after this accident. Because the life of four youths ended due to the grip of this train. Local people say that five youths were returning after seeing the Dussehra fair. He had no idea that this would happen while crossing the railway track.
