Since 2017, there has been a huge decline in heinous crimes like robbery, robbery, riot, murder, kidnapping and rape in the state. Due to the government’s zero tolerance policy, the law and order of Uttar Pradesh has improved on a large scale. Also, the screws on mafia and hooliganism have been tightened.
Heavy reduction in major crimes
According to police records, there has been a significant decline in various criminal incidents during the Yogi government’s tenure. There has been a decrease in the incidents of discharge by 84.41 percent as compared to 2016. Apart from this, the loot cases have been reduced by 77.43 percent. Along with this, there has been a significant reduction in the incidents of kidnapping, dowry murder and rape. Apart from this, modern technologies like police activism and CCTV surveillance have played an important role in catching criminals.
Action on mafia and illegal properties
The Yogi government has taken massive action on the mafia, gangsters and land mafia of the state. Under this, movable and immovable illegal properties of more than Rs 142 billion have been seized. At the same time, cases have been registered against 68 mafia and about one and a half thousand associates. While 617 criminals have been arrested. Apart from this, the Gangster Act has been implemented on 752.
Every citizen of Uttar Pradesh safe in Yogi government
During the tenure of the Yogi government, Uttar Pradesh has not only moved forward in terms of development, but has also set a new example on the law and order front. The activism of the police administration, technological upgradation and strict laws have merged the criminals into the soil. Every citizen of Uttar Pradesh feels safe in the Yogi government. This is the biggest achievement of the government.
