He said that when his government came, then the economy of the state was Rs 12 lakh crore, which will be Rs 27.5 lakh crore by the end of this financial year. CM Yogi said that the state government is committed to making Uttar Pradesh a trillion economy by 2029.
Opposition with personal agenda does not like the development of the state and country
He lashed out at the opposition and said that those who do not consider India to be a developed nation, they also question the economic growth of Uttar Pradesh. Said that India is moving forward as a big economy in the world today. It may be that some people do not feel good because those who have their own personal agenda will not consider the development of the country as good, but the truth is that the country’s economy has reached fifth place in the world today and India by 2027 The 5 trillion will become a dollar economy. He said that in the year 2029, Uttar Pradesh will also become an Economy of Forest Trillion Dollar and will also become the largest economy in the country.
Said- 60 lakh youth will get employment in the state
CM Yogi said that his government has identified 10 major areas to speed up the economy. These areas include industrial development, agriculture, social security, urban development, revenue collection, education, health, tourism and service sector. He said that investment proposals of Rs 40 lakh crore were received at the Global Investors Summit held in 2023, out of which investment of Rs 15 lakh crore has been launched on the ground. Many industries have also started production. This investment is likely to provide employment to 60 lakh youth.
Today the farmer is getting one and a half times the price of his produce
The Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh has become the most MSME units operating in the country today. Due to the neglect of previous governments, this sector was in disarray, but it was revived through the One District One Product (ODOP) scheme. CM Yogi said that the condition of the farmers of Uttar Pradesh was very bad before 2017, but today the farmer is not committing suicide, but is getting one and a half times the price of his produce. He informed that farmers are getting Rs 2300 per quintal in paddy cultivation, while the cost is Rs 1100. The government has also done the work of providing free seeds for pulses and oilseeds.
CM Yogi said that in the work done in the direction of self -reliance to women in the state, 20% recruitment in Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment alone has been compulsorily done. They have got employment opportunities in every sector. It is said that the Samajwadi Party government and the opposition parties had brought it to the category of sick states of the country, it had created it as the sixth-seventh economy of the country.
Mahakumbh contributed more than 3 lakh crores to the economy of the state
It is said that due to the efforts of the double engine government in the last 8 years, Uttar Pradesh has become the second largest economy in the country by recovering from the sixth-seventh economy. The Chief Minister said that there has been an unprecedented increase in the tourism sector in Uttar Pradesh. In 2023, 65 crore tourists came to the state and more than 60 crore devotees are expected to come alone in Mahakumbh. He said that Mahakumbh will contribute more than Rs 3 lakh crore to the economy of Uttar Pradesh.
