PM Modi gave a gift of Rs 33,700 crore to Chhattisgarh

PM Modi: The foundation stone of the city gas distribution project of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited was laid in Korea, Surajpur, Balrampur and Surguja districts.

PM ways: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday gave Chhattisgarh a development projects worth more than Rs 33,700 crore. He addressed the Kisan Sammelan and public meeting in Mohabhatta in Bilaspur district. During this, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects in many important areas including electricity, oil, gas, rail, road, education and housing.

PM Modi said a big thing for Chhattisgarh

Addressing the public meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Today is the first Navratri and Chhattisgarh is the land of Mata Mahamaya. It is also the mother of Mata Kaushalya. In such a situation, these nine days dedicated to mother power are very special for Chhattisgarh and I am fortunate to have reached here on the first day of Navratri.” He said that the foundation stone and inauguration of projects worth more than Rs 33,700 crore has been launched, including facilities like poor houses, schools, roads, electricity, gas pipeline.

The foundation stone of many development projects

The Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of NTPC’s Sipat Super Thermal Power Project (Phase-III) located in Bilaspur district. The cost of this project will be more than Rs 9,790 crore. Apart from this, the first Super Critical Thermal Power Project of Rs 15,800 crore of Chhattisgarh State Electricity Generation Company Limited was also started.

The foundation stone of the city gas distribution project of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited was laid in Korea, Surajpur, Balrampur and Surguja districts. In this project, more than 200 km of high pressure pipeline and more than 800 km MDPE pipeline will be built. Its cost will be Rs 1,285 crore.

The foundation stone of the 540 km long Visakhapatnam-Raipur pipeline project of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited was also laid, the estimated cost of which will be more than Rs 2,210 crore. Apart from this, a plan was also launched to upgrade the NH-130 D of NH-130 crore for upgradation of NH-130 D. Kondagaon-Narayanpur section in two lanes for upgrading seven railway projects and national highways.

Schemes dedicated to the nation

Prime Minister Modi dedicated three power transmission projects of Powergrid costing more than Rs 560 crore to the nation under the Western Region Extension Scheme. 111 km long railway projects costing Rs 2,690 crore were also dedicated to the nation.

100 percent electrification of Indian Railways was also announced. Along with this, the Jhalmala-Sherpar section of NH-930 (37 km) and Ambikapur-Pathalgaon section of NH-43 were upgraded to the nation by upgrading to two lanes.

3 lakh poor got home under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

Prime Minister Modi got home admission of 3 lakh beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin. He handed over the keys of the house to some beneficiaries themselves. Apart from this, 130 PM Shri School in 29 districts of the state and Vidya Review Center in Raipur were also announced.

Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s statement

On this occasion, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that these projects launched by the Prime Minister will prove to be a milestone in the saga of the development of Chhattisgarh. He said that the expansion of industries will increase employment opportunities and the state will move towards prosperity.
