India’s two -time Olympic medalist spear throw athlete Neeraj Chopra made a great start to the game by winning a pot invitational track competition in Potchefstroom, South Africa. Chopra on Wednesday topped the World Athletics Continental Tour Challenger competition and threw a spear for a distance of 84.52 meters and topped the match between six players.

Chopra on Wednesday topped the World Athletics Continental Tour Challenger competition and threw a spear for a distance of 84.52 meters and topped the match between six players.
Indian star Chopra was ahead of South Africa’s 25 -year -old Dowy Smt, whose best throw was 82.44 meters. Chopra’s performance although his individual best was less than 89.94 meters, Smt reached his personal best 83.29 meters. Only two players Chopra and Smt crossed the distance of 80 meters in the competition. Another South African player Duncan Robertson finished third with an attempt of 71.22 meters.
