For this, the jewelers had already started preparations on a large scale and this was the reason that on Wednesday, a large number of customers were also coming to the markets. It is being told that there was more demand for light gold in the market than heavy jewelery. Meanwhile, Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) National General Secretary and MP Praveen Khandelwal said that on the special occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, it is expected that 12 thousand crores of gold jewelery etc. have been sold in India.
People shop after price hike
In this episode, traders hope that there has been a trade of 4 thousand crores of silver. He said that despite the huge increase in gold and silver prices, people have made huge amounts of shopping because Akshay III is considered very auspicious and people have shopped in a lot of numbers according to tradition. He also told that gold is also seen as an investment of money and that is why people have bought gold and silver jewelry even after the prices rise. At the same time, Pankaj Arora, president of All India Jewelers and Goldsmith Federation, said that on the day of Akshay III, the price of gold was Rs 97,500 per 10 grams and silver was Rs 98,000 per kg.

Gold and silver price increased year after year
The chairman of All India Jewelers and Goldsmith Federation further said that on Wednesday, there has been a decline of one thousand and silver in the price of gold by 2 thousand rupees. Even after there is a huge price in the price of gold and silver in the market, people showed huge interest and it works to show the cultural identity of the auspicious festival. Arora further said that despite heavy prices, customers consider to be auspicious to buy gold and silver keeping in mind the importance of traditional faith and Akshay III. He further said that in the year 2022, the price of gold was 52700 per 10 grams and 65 thousand rupees a kilo of silver. At the same time, in 2023, it was 61,800 per gram of gold price and the price of silver was 76,500 per kg. Apart from this, in the year 2024, the price of gold was 74,900 per 10 grams while the price of silver was Rs 87,531 per kg.
