Housefull 5: Housefull 5, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar’s much awaited film Housefull, is coming to bring a smile on the audience’s face this year, but this time not just comedy, but its grand budget is also in the headlines.
HOUSEFull 5: This film, which is releasing on 6 June 2025, will not only explode laughter, but has also made its mark as the most expensive comedy film in the history of Hindi cinema. In this film made in a budget of about 375 crores, 18 big Bollywood stars will be seen, who are giving it the status of a multistar blockbuster.
‘Housefull 5’ made with a budget of 375 crores, 18 stars have a huge team
The Housefull franchise started in 2010, where the budget of the first film was only 30 crores. After this, Housefull 2 (2012) was built for around 60-65 crores, Housefull 3 (2016) around 90 crores and Housefull 4 (2019) was built for 75 crores. But now the fifth part of Housefull 5 has created history with an estimated budget of Rs 375 crore, breaking all the old records.
The special thing of this film is that it has also put a temper of murder mystery along with comedy. The story of the film is based on a cruise ship, where the secrets also deepen with laughter. Tarun Mansukhani is directing the film, and two police officers in the story – Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff – will be seen trying to solve this mystery.

Will be a hit at the box office or will be limited to comedy?
In the first four months of 2025, Akshay Kumar’s two films Sky Force and Kesari Chapter 2 – have been released. However, these films have been average at the box office and could not withdraw their costs. Now expectations from Housefull 5 are doubled – not only for laughter, but also to make profits for the makers. Now it will be seen whether this big stake of 375 crores is a hit, or this film will remain only in the name of comedy.
