MEA Press Conference: A press conference of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs is being held amidst the continuous deteriorating situation between India and Pakistan. In which Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Indian Air Force Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, Colonel Sophia Qureshi of the Indian Army have given information about India’s Pakistani Terror Establishment and in India.
The incident of April 22 forced to take steps

What did Colonel Sophia Qureshi say
Colonel Sophia Qureshi said that late night of Wednesday, 7 May 2025, Pakistan tried to attack several military bases including Avantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarai and Bhuj using drones and missiles. These attacks were effectively thwarted by India’s integrated counter-UAS grid and air defense systems, causing no damage. Colonel Qureshi said that the debris of the attack has been recovered from many places, which is a clear proof of Pakistan’s aggressive action. This attack was probably a response to India’s operation vermilion action, in which terrorist bases were targeted on the night of 6-7 May.
