Pakistan: The ‘Operation Sindoor’ carried out by the Army of India has shook Pakistan. This accurate military action destroyed nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK), causing a shock to the terrorist structure. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif immediately reached his office in Islamabad and called an emergency meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC). According to official sources, the operation was carried out between 1:05 pm and 1:30 pm on May 7, which destroyed nine terrorist bases using 24 precise missiles. These included five hideouts in POK and four in the Punjab province of Pakistan, including terrorist camps in areas such as Bahawalpur, Sialkot and Muridke. More than 100 terrorists were killed by the use of advanced missiles such as Scalp and Hammer, including major terrorists of organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. In particular, this operation was designed to avoid civic casualties, which was lodged by Indian military officials in press briefing.
Colonel Sophia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh told the media, “No innocent citizens were targeted in this operation. The Indian Army demolished the terrorist structure with full professionalism.”

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, who appeared clearly nervous, addressed the nation on May 7, calling India’s action a “cowardly war” and vowed to give “a befitting reply”. In his fiery speech in Pakistan’s Parliament, Sharif claimed that 37 people were killed in the attacks, including women and children, and India of violating Pakistan’s sovereignty. He also claimed that Pakistan killed five Indian aircraft, which the Indian authorities dismissed it as baseless publicity.
