Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is serious about urban development in the state. The state government said on Monday that a comprehensive draft of building construction and development bye, 2025 has been prepared to provide new speed to building construction and urban development in Uttar Pradesh. The Housing and Urban Planning Department has presented the draft Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for approval, which aims to make construction and business operations more accessible.
Drafts have been prepared on public suggestions and objections
During a recent review meeting, departmental officials had said that public suggestions and objections were invited on the draft bye -laws. A total of 1,153 reactions were received within the prescribed time frame. They cover major areas such as simplifying input construction norms, promoting environmental protection and commercial activities in residential areas. Officials said that a revised proposal will soon be submitted to the cabinet for the final recommendation, incorporating the relevant response. Residents, businesses and developers will get many benefits from the proposed bye -laws.
The map of the architect is valid for residential plots up to five thousand square feet
The map will no longer be required to build a house on a plot up to a thousand square feet. The certificate of an architect will be sufficient for residential plots up to five thousand square feet and commercial plots up to two thousand square feet. These provisions are expected to simplify procedures and reduce delay in construction. The draft garden emphasizes green buildings, energy efficiency and anti-disaster structures. According to officials, it also focuses on affordable housing and slum rehabilitation to support urban poor, which is in line with the government’s commitment to inclusive development. One of the most transformational characteristics of proposed bye -laws is allowed to operate small and medium businesses from residential complexes.
