Mohali: The ‘AAP’ government in Punjab has made the registration of property quite easy. Now people will not have to wander around for registration. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Monday launched the ‘easy registration’ system to facilitate harass free and transparent property registration. Mann said that this is a revolutionary step because people will not have to run from office to office. Agents or middlemen will not have to deal with, because everything will be available on the phone from beginning to end. Will be sharp, clear and transparent.
Registration can be done in any sub-registrar office
After launching this, the two leaders said that citizens can now register in any sub-registrar office in the district, not only where the property is located. Service assistants through helpline 1076 will help rural families, senior citizens, busy working professionals and people with limited mobility. Mann said that this system provides real -time WhatsApp information at every stage of the document, such as deposit, approval, payment and appointment. To ensure that citizens always know their position. Citizens will no longer face long lines or repeated office to submit online documents, digitally pre-specified and self-determined appointments.
Bank will not have to go for payment
Mann said that registration reduces stress and waiting time. Said that citizens can avoid high fees taken by private deed writers and middlemen by preparing themselves through ‘service assistants’ and providing services up to affordable doors. Citizens can draft their own functions using ‘Draft My Deed’ tool or get low cost assistance at service centers or through ‘service assistants’. Maan said that this increases self-sufficiency, reduces dependence on private deed writers and citizens are able to manage their transactions on their own. He insisted that people will not have to run to the banks for payment.
Punjab government on the principle of ‘your property, your convenience’

If the sub-registrar raises any objection, people will immediately come to know and all objections will be tracked by senior officials like Deputy Commissioner. This will prevent corruption and if any property improperly delays registration, strict action will be taken. He said that the network of corruption in the tehsils was deep and complex, but this action is one step ahead to end it.
