Reshmi Kumari of Chaibasa Sant Xavier’s Girls Inter College became the state topper in the Faculty of Commerce with 95.2 percent marks.

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) declared its result on Saturday. In the examination results of the Faculty of Science and Commerce of 12th, the girls beat the boys. JAC announced the results in the presence of State Education Minister Ramdas Soren. JAC Secretary Jayant Mishra said that 79.26 percent students were successful in the examination in the Faculty of Science and 91.92 percent in the Faculty of Commerce. 80.53 percent of girls passed in science, while the pass percentage of boys was 78.47.

95.05% girls passed in Commerce Faculty

Secretary Jayant Mishra said that 95.05 % of girls passed in the Faculty of Commerce, while 89.61 % boys passed. Ankita Dutta of Govindpur’s Government High School became the state topper in the Faculty of Science with 95.4 percent marks, while Reshmi Kumari of Saint Xavier’s Girls Inter College of Chaibasa became the state’s topper in the Faculty of Commerce with 95.2 percent marks. Mishra said that out of 98,634 students who appeared in the science stream examination, 78,186 students passed. The total passing percentage was 6.56 % more than the previous year. The total passing percentage last year was 72.70.

Latehar topped districts

58,720 students passed with first class marks. While 19,383 second class and 63 students got third class marks. Similarly, 20,285 students passed in class 12 commercial examination while 22,066 students appeared. Last year, the total pass percentage in commerce stream was 90.60 percent. 12,829 students passed with first class marks, 7,234 with second class and 222 with third class marks. Latehar topped the districts in terms of percentage passed in both science and commerce streams. Ramdas Soren congratulated the students, teachers, parents and the department for the results.

Governor and Chief Minister congratulated

Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar and Chief Minister Hemant Soren congratulated the students, parents and teachers. Gangwar wrote on X, “This success is the result of your hard work, discipline and dedication. I wish for a bright future of all students.
