According to news agency PTI, Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul Hasan Lanjar has confirmed that 216 prisoners have escaped from High Security Jail. Zia-ul Hasan Lanjar said that these prisoners escaped after the earthquake. This case is being reported of the High Security Jail of Karachi, the port city of Pakistan. Police informed that hundreds of prisoners broke the doors of their cells after the earthquake was felt in Karachi’s Malir Jail. The important thing is that on Monday, tremors of low intensity earthquakes were felt. Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul Hasan Lanjar said, “On Monday night, when the earthquake came, the prisoners got nervous and started committing violence to get out of their cells. Police arrested 78 of the fleeing prisoners.” It was told that the police teams are trying hard to catch the remaining prisoners and soon all the prisoners will be behind bars again.

Zia-ul Hasan Lanjar said, “After the earthquake, police officers tried to ensure the safety of the prisoners and took them out of the cells, after which some prisoners escaped with the help of violence. A dozen policemen and prisoners were injured in the violence, while a prisoner trying to escape was shot and killed. Has caught a lot of hard work, they will be prosecuted under anti -terrorism laws. ” It is important that some Indian fishermen have also been kept in this jail of Karachi. These fishermen were accidentally caught illegally in Pakistan’s maritime area.
