PM Modi challenged terrorists from Britain's land

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has challenged terrorism from Britain’s soil. PM Modi said that there is also a need to face the challenge of terrorism strongly.

PM Modi in UK: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said after meeting his British counterpart Keer Stmper on Thursday that the forces with “extremist ideologies” should not be allowed to misuse democratic freedom. This comment has come amid increasing concern in India about the activities of pro -Khalistan elements in Britain. Along with Keer Stmper, PM Modi also said that both India and Britain “are unanimous that there can be no place for double standards in the fight against terrorism”, and he thanked the British government for the “tough” condemnation of the Pahalgam terror attack. PM Modi made this comment 50 km north-west from London after his hosting by the stormer in the rural house checkers of the British Prime Minister.

What did you say on extremist ideologies?

PM Modi said in his media statement, “We agree that the forces with extremist ideologies should not be allowed to misuse democratic freedom. Those who misuse democratic freedom to weaken democracy, should be held accountable.” Let us know that in the UK, concerns about the activities of pro -Khalistan elements are increasing in India, especially after the attack on the Indian High Commission in London in March 2023. India has been informed about its concerns before Britain about the activities of pro -Khalistan elements on British soil. According to the information received, this issue was discussed in the delegation level talks.

Terrorism also challenged

Prime Minister Modi also stressed the need to strongly face the challenge of terrorism. He said, “We thank the Prime Minister’s stormer and his government for strong condemnation of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. We are unanimous that there can be no place for double standards in the fight against terrorism.” It is estimated that India’s challenge of terrorism across the border was also discussed in the conversation. The important thing is that the conversation between PM Modi and Kir Stmper was mainly focused on promoting bilateral relations in various fields including business, investment, defense and security, education and clean technology. Both sides signed a free trade agreement, aims to promote both economies, reduce tariffs on 99 percent of Indian exports, generate thousands of jobs and cut tariffs on British whiskey, cars and other items. The agreement, officially named the Cast Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), signed in the presence of the Prime Ministers of India and Britain by Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal and British Trade Secretary Jonathan Reynolds. Officials said that the CETA, which was prepared after three years of talks, is expected to ensure widespread market access to Indian goods in all areas and India will benefit from eradication of tariffs on about 99 percent tariff lines (product categories), which covers about 100 percent of the trade value.
