Strict eye on security system

The Amarnath Yatra is not only a symbol of religious faith, but also a major test of the security and political will of the country. In this journey lasting 38 days, the Center and the Jammu and Kashmir administration have prepared multi-level security shields to ensure the safety of millions of devotees. Police, CRPF and army personnel are stationed on every route. On Saturday, a new batch of 2,324 devotees left from Bhagwati Nagar Base Camp in Jammu, which included 377 women and 51 sages. Importance of Amarnath Yatra from political points

The Amarnath Yatra has always been considered important in the social and political scenario of Jammu and Kashmir. Like every bar, a large number of devotees are gathering for the yatra this year. So far, more than 3.60 lakh devotees have seen Baba Barfani in the holy cave. Political analysts believe that the success of this journey to promote general status and tourism in the valley is in the priority of the central government. The 14 -km standing route of Baltal and the 48 km long traditional route of Pahalgam take the patience and administrative capacity of the passengers. But due to strong security arrangements and modern monitoring mechanisms, the journey is now being considered relatively safe and smooth.

The Amarnath Yatra will end on 9 August on the day of Rakshabandhan, but its successful and peaceful operations will be seen as the policy success of the government. In the past years, the administration had to face challenge many times due to terrorist attacks and natural disasters, but this time both the central and state governments are focusing on the security and management of both travel. On July 2, when the first consignment from Jammu was dispatched by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, since then 1,39,098 devotees have left the base camp towards the valley.
