New Delhi: Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Saturday termed the Indo-Bitten Free Trade Agreement ahead. Minister Piyush Goyal said that every section of India including farmers, youth, MSME sector and industry will benefit from this. He said that this will enable India to send 99 percent exports to Britain free. The Indo-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA), also known as the Cast Economic and Trade Agreement, was signed by Piyush Goyal and his counterpart Jonathan Rrenalds on Thursday in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and British Prime Minister Kir starrer.
The minister told the agreement to the game changer
Addressing a press conference at the BJP headquarters here, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal credited India’s success in signing the FTA to the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Piyush Goyal said that this is a game-changer agreement. He said that it will bring immense opportunities for farmers, Indian industry, MSME sector, workers, youth and fishermen. Minister Goyal insisted that the agreement with the UK was signed with the UK on the terms of India, protecting sensitive items like agriculture and ethanol. In a clear sarcasm on the Congress, Piyush Goyal claimed that in many examples during the UPA rule, the UPA government opened the Indian markets in such a way that the UPA damaged the country.
Employment opportunities will open
He said that I believe that this FTA gives a very big message to India’s future economy. Minister Piyush Goyal said that we will see the benefits of India under it in the coming years. He appealed to the Indian industry to study the agreement and start looking for markets in various fields including footwear, leather, toys, pharmaceuticals, gems and jewelery, food processing and service. Minister Piyush Goyal said that this agreement will bring immense opportunities for the farmers, Indian industries, MSME sector, workers, youth and fishermen of India. The country and youth will also benefit greatly from this agreement. Trade and employment opportunities will open for all classes.
