Lucknow: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has accused the BJP government of ruining the state’s power system. He said on Sunday that the transformer of the electricity department in Uttar Pradesh has been blown. He claimed that there is no electricity in the state, only electricity bills are coming and this wild bill is eating people’s pockets. Akhilesh Yadav said that the BJP government has destroyed the power system of the state. The transformer of the electricity department has been blown in Uttar Pradesh. The wires have been broken between ministers and officers and the columns of the government’s trust among the troubled people have been uprooted. Yadav alleged that the meter of public anger is growing rapidly. The wheel of production is jam, communication system is disrupted and in the name of distribution, the earnings of corruption are being monitored.
All upset due to power cuts
He said that the work that his party had done earlier to improve the electricity system, the BJP government has ruined everything in nine years. Akhilesh Yadav further said that the people of the entire state are troubled by undisclosed power cuts. The government is not able to provide electricity to farmers for irrigation. He said that there is a huge electricity crisis in big cities and district headquarters as well. He said that electricity is being cut for hours in various areas of the capital Lucknow. Common people, businessmen, students are all troubled by power cuts. The government does not come to consciousness until people reach the sub-centers and protest.
Accused of recovery in the name of electricity checking
Said that when the people of the capital Lucknow are forced to protest for electricity, it can be guessed how bad the situation will be in other districts and rural areas of the state. The SP chief claimed that the BJP government did not increase the production of electricity even a unit throughout his tenure. Yadav said that whatever electricity is available in Uttar Pradesh today, it is being generated from the power plants built during the socialist government. He alleged that there is heavy corruption in every department. Forced recovery is being done from farmers, traders and general public in the name of electricity checking in the state. The BJP government is facing all -round opposition to electricity. The Electricity Minister has been besieged in many places. The public is opposing the government.
