US Businessman On Trump Tariff : US President Donald Trump has imposed tariffs on many countries around the world including India last week. His decision created a stir in the world. Trump has announced additional punitive action on trade with Russia with a 25 per cent tariff on India. Meanwhile, he also said that I do not care what India does with Russia. They can further drop their dead economy. Canadian business taikoon Kirk Lubimov has a reaction to Trump’s statement and he has given a strict warning to Trump.
Posted warning on social media
In this episode, Testbed Company Chairman Kirk Lubimov, criticizing Trump’s strategy and posted on social media and wrote that Trump is now taking the fastest growing economy in the world. This is a big geopolitical mistake. Lubimov further wrote that the importance of India is not only economic, but also to balance China’s influence in the supply chain.

Trump told India dead economy
However, Trump has imposed a 25 percent tariff on India. Along with this, he called India a dead economy, but has also attacked the high tariff policies imposed by India. Meanwhile, he alleged that India imposes the world’s highest tariff on American goods. America’s trade, tariffs and restrictions with India are limited. Along with this, Trump also launched a big attack on Russia. He believes that India’s trade with Russia weakens the US ban policy. Trump’s statement came at a time when India has become the second largest buyer of crude oil from Russia.
India reacted
The reaction from India has come to light on this statement of Trump. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said in Parliament that India is the fastest growing major economy in the world and is soon to become the third largest economy in the world. According to Goyal, India’s contribution to Global GDP is around 16 percent.
