New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Wednesday that his government is working with a holistic view for the revival of infrastructure across the country. He said that in the last 11 years, a governance model has been seen in India which is transparent, sensitive and civic centered. Speaking at an event organized on the duty path a few hours after the inauguration of Duty Bhavan, he said that the project is a symbol of India’s global approach with other infrastructure facilities. He said that for decades, the administrative system of the government continued from the British era buildings, where the working conditions were poor and there was a lack of space, lights and ventilation.
Work together for self -sufficient India
He said that we have to work together to write the success story of ‘Make in India’ and self -reliant India. It should be our resolve to increase the productivity of ourselves and the country. He further said that Duty Bhavan is a symbol of resolve to realize the dreams of the nation. It will guide the policies and direction of a developed India. He said that this is also a moment of introspection because India could not develop at the pace with which many other countries, which got freedom at the same time and who moved forward, developed. He said that it is our responsibility not to leave the current problems to the coming generations. The inauguration of Duty Bhavan is not just the launch of a new building, but a modern change in the administrative culture of India. This will not only organize the functioning of ministries more, but will also improve the speed and quality of providing services to the citizens.
These offices will remain under a roof
This initiative of the Modi government strengthens the concept of “minimum government, maximum governance”. This project is considered a decisive initiative towards making the country’s administrative system more organized, skilled and modern. The purpose of Duty Bhavan-03 is to bring the office of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Rural Development, MSME, Personnel and Training Department, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and Chief Scientific Advisor of the Prime Minister under one roof. Earlier, these ministries were operating from old buildings like Shastri Bhavan, Krishi Bhawan, Udyog Bhawan and Construction Building, which are now described as “structurally old and disable”.
