Officials gave information

It was also told by the officials that immediate response teams (QRT) of Jammu and Kashmir Police have been deployed. He further informed that investigation and search has been increased on entry and exit points and roads in every district. Deployment of police and central paramilitary forces on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway and Jammu-Pathankot highway has also been increased. Terrorism affected Rajouri, Poonch, Kishtwar, Doda, Udhampur and Kathua districts are closely monitored.

The ceremony will be held

Let us tell you here that on the special occasion of Independence Day, the main ceremony will be held at Maulana Azad Stadium, where Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chaudhary will hoist the tricolor. At the same time, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will preside over the main function of Independence Day to be held at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar. He informed that special security arrangements have been made around the main ceremony site.

Additional Superintendent of Police made a statement

In this episode, Additional Superintendent of Police of Udhampur Sandeep Bhat said that in view of the Independence Day celebrations yesterday, we have made strict security arrangements in the entire district from national highways to hilly areas like Basantgarh and Latti. He further said that during this time CRPF and CISF personnel are deployed, along with dog squads have also been deployed. Strict security arrangements have been made on the highway.

According to the officials, border security has been tightened and all the border roads have been monitored strictly. He informed that important border roads and highways are being monitored through CCTV. He informed that companies of police and Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) have been deployed.
