Atal Bihari Vajpayee Death Anniversary: On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the seventh death anniversary. PM Modi said that Atal ji’s dedication and service, still inspires India to develop and self-reliant. On this occasion, many veteran leaders including President Draupadi Murmu, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also paid tribute to Vajpayee’s memorial ‘always Atal’.

Prime Minister Modi wrote on the social media platform x, “I remember Atal ji on his death anniversary. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, while paying tribute to Atal ji, said that he devoted his entire life to the creation of a strong and prosperous India. He wrote, “The nation will always remember his great services.” On this occasion, Union Minister J.P. Nadda, Kiren Rijiju, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, JDU MP Sanjay Jha and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also reached ‘Sadav Atal’ memorial and paid floral tributes.

Atal ji was at the peak of both politics and poetry
Atal Bihari Vajpayee was one such personality of Indian politics who connected politics with human sensibilities with his poetry and oratory. He was the Prime Minister of the country for six years (1998–2004) and took forward the economic reforms and took India on the path of high growth rate.
