It is worth noting that this project is being done with the aim of correcting traffic in Delhi and promoting regional connectivity. Even before this, in the year 2024, PM Modi inaugurated the 19 km long Haryana section of Dwarka Expressway. During this period, new routes connecting the Urban Extension Road-II from Alipur to Dichaun Kala Section were constructed by Bahadurgarh and Sonipat, which has cost Rs 5,580 crore. Dhaula will help to reduce traffic in busy areas like Kuan, Mukarba Chowk and NH-09. This will ensure better connectivity in the outskirts of Delhi and save time for passengers.
People will get relief
Due to both these projects, traffic management will improve in the capital and this will provide relief to the people. The Delhi section of Dwarka Expressway will increase the facility for the people here. At the same time, through multi-model connectivity, it will also help in integrating rail, metro and bus services. At the same time, Uer-II will help reduce traffic.
