This shop was not limited to bicycle and gear, but also started providing services like servicing, e-bike and e-scooter rental. In 2023, Anisa took full responsibility of this business and made it the center of local cycling lovers. This is not only a means of self -sufficiency for them, but is also a means of promoting sports. Now their goal is to develop special biking trails in Meghalaya and especially to attract girls towards this game.

Became inspiration and changed notion

Anisa’s hard work and passion has also been appreciated at the national level. She was included in Higher India’s ‘Perform Big, Silently’ campaign, which also showed the achievements of women like Arunima Sinha and Dr. Seema Rao. In addition, his story was also shown in a documentary called ‘Project Wild Women’, showing 15 women who were breaking traditional perceptions in adventure sports. Despite limited financial assistance and institutional cooperation, Anisa has created a unique confluence of sports, business and social messages. Now she has become not only a player, but has become a mentor of the next generation and a new identity of this game in the northeast.

The journey of Anisa Lamare is not limited to sports, but is a story of courage and patience. Today she is not only illuminating the name of the country internationally, but is also working towards making Meghalaya a new center of mountain biking and becoming an inspiration for girls.
