Botham’s murder: In Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh, the brother -in -law killed his sister -in -law and three nieces. It is said that the accused carried out the incident in a property dispute. The accused was jailed in the case of murder of his brother. Came out on bail at this time. The brother -in -law carried out the incident as soon as he came out. ASP (Rural) Durga Prasad Tiwari said on Thursday that Anirudh Kumar, a resident of Ramipurwa village in Bahraich, was jailed in the murder of his brother Santosh Kumar over a property dispute in 2018. He said that after getting bail a few months after the murder, Anirudh forced his brother’s wife 36 -year -old Suman to forcibly make a relationship and lived with him.
Mother was missing with all three daughters
The official said that he had two daughters, six -year -old Anshika and three -year -old Lado. The ASP said that Suman was also a 12 -year -old daughter Nandini born to her husband Santosh. The SSP said that since Suman was a major witness in the murder of her husband, Anirudh was asking her to change the testimony. ASP Tiwari said that Suman recently came to the maiden with her three daughters and on August 19, Suman’s mother Rampata lodged a police complaint that her daughter and the three girls have been missing since August 14. The ASP said that Suman’s family suspected that Anirudh and one of his companions had abducted all four with the intention of killing them.
Accused arrested from Gaighat bridge, fellow absconding
Police received information that the accused Anirudh is present near Gaighat bridge in Motipur area. On this, the police laid siege from all sides and arrested the accused. In front of the police, Anirudh confessed that he had called sister -in -law Suman and the three nieces in Mihipurwa town on 14 August with the help of his friend. After this, he took everyone to a bridge over the Sharda river in Khamharia area of Lakhimpur Kheri district and pushed it into the river. The ASP said that the police have recovered Suman and girls’ clothes, a girl’s shoes and motorcycles used during crime from the bushes near the spot. However, the bodies have not been found yet. The ASP said that since the incident, the associate of the accused is absconding.
