Voter Rights Yatra in Bihar: Congress leader and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi (Rahul Gandhi) And RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav (Tejashwi Yadav) On Sunday (August 24), during the ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ on the streets of Araria in Purnia district of Bihar, they came out on a motorcycle. The 1,300 km journey started from Sasaram on August 17. The yatra will pass through more than 20 districts in a period of 16 days and end with a rally in Patna on 1 September. In the Lok Sabha, the Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav were seen running a motorcycle while entering Araria of the yatra. There were queues of people on the streets to see both the leaders. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav addressed a joint press conference in Araria.
Accused of not providing employment to youth
On this occasion, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday accused the NDA government of trying to steal votes in the name of special intensive revision (SIR) of the voter list in Bihar before the assembly elections. Addressing a rally here as part of the voter rights journey, Gandhi also accused the BJP -led central government of closing all employment opportunities for the poor and youth of the country. He alleged that after privatizing the public sector units, the Narendra Modi government now wants to steal the votes of the poor through the SIR with the help of the Election Commission. The Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha said that India block will not allow this to happen in Bihar. The constitution guarantees equal rights to every citizen of the country.

Said that SIR is anti -Constitution. The people of Bihar will give a befitting reply to the BJP and its allies in the assembly elections. Addressing a rally in Katihar district on Saturday evening as part of the yatra, Gandhi condemned efforts to steal votes in favor of BJP before the assembly elections in Bihar, which has closed the doors of opportunities for the poor since coming to power at the center. Gandhi had alleged that the BJP and the RSS believe that Dalits should not be saved, the most backward classes should not be allowed to move forward at the social level and women should not be given much freedom. Therefore, they are bent on destroying the constitution.
