The Union Home Ministry had initially directed CRPF to provide the Chief Minister’s Z -class security, but now this system has been withdrawn and has once taken the responsibility of security of the Chief Minister to the Delhi Police. At the same time, Delhi Police has provided Z+ security with additional deployment.
40 policemen will always be deployed
A senior official said that more than 40 policemen have always been present in the security of the Chief Minister and their security has been strengthened more earlier. A strict investigation will be done in each of their programs and they include public hearing program. On August 20, he was attacked during one such public hearing at his camp office in Civil Lines. He further said that before entering the premises, every visitor will be completely searched and verified will also be done. Explain that the person who allegedly attacked CM Gupta has been identified as Rajeshbhai Khimji (41), who runs an auto-rickshaw and is from Rajkot, Gujarat. At the same time, the police say about his colleague Tehseen that he had done financial assistance before the incident and coordinated with him. Apart from this, police sources said that the investigation shows that Khimji was not doing this alone, but he had planned to attack the Chief Minister with a clear intention to harm the Chief Minister.
