Student Death in School: In a government school toilet located in Gardani Bagh, a class 5 student (12) was found in a severely burnt state on Wednesday.
Student death in school: A violent protest took place on Thursday to protest the death of a schoolgirl in Patna, Bihar, in which a policeman was injured. The protesters became angry on seeing the police arrived for investigation. People attacked the policemen. Due to which a policeman was injured. Later somehow the police controlled the crowd. On Wednesday, a class 5 student (12) was found in a severely burnt condition in a government school toilet in Gardani Bagh. School teachers and locals took him to Patna Medical College, where he died during treatment. As soon as the information about the death was received, the local people became angry and started vandalizing the school.
Action will be taken against protesters: DGP
According to the police, it is being investigated how the girl burnt. A large number of people gathered outside the school to protest against the incident. The situation soon deteriorated and people blocked the road by burning tires. As soon as the police tried to remove the blockade, the protesters vandalized and started throwing stones. An official of the Gardani Bagh police station said that a police constable was injured in the violence. A large police contingent was sent to the area, which controlled the situation. Earlier on Monday, a mob created a fierce furore in protest against the murder of two children in Indrapuri area of the city. Five policemen, including a woman constable, were injured by stone pelting and setting fire in two vehicles. DGP (DGP) Vinay Kumar said that strict action will be taken against those involved in both the incidents of violence.
Accused will be caught soon
He told PTI-language that if the policemen on crime control duty are shot at the criminals, they will retaliate. We have received reports that the vested selfish people are appointing anti -social elements to attack the policemen. We will identify every anti -social element that threw stones at the policemen in Girdani Bagh and Indrapuri. He said that we will not let anyone take the law in our hands. Both cases are under investigation and the accused will be caught soon. After the death of the girl, on Wednesday, people were beaten up by the policemen of Gardani Bagh police station. All of them are being identified and action will be taken against them. Regarding the death of the schoolgirl, the DGP said that the police have registered a case based on the statement given by his family. He said that the role of many people is being investigated.
