In this, the Pahalgam terrorist incident was strongly condemned on 22 April and SCO countries insisted that double the masters are unacceptable in the fight against terrorism. The manifesto further stated that there is a deep condolences to the families of those killed and injured in this attack. Apart from this, emphasis was also laid on the convicts, organizers and sponsors of the attack. The SCO countries clearly stated that their commitment against terrorism, extremism and separatism is absolutely firm.

Terrorism is not tolerated in any form

The SCO countries repeated the matter of not tolerating terrorism in any form and also indicated the need to completely eliminate it. He said that it is absolutely wrong to use terrorist incidents, separatism and extremist groups for selfishness. At the same time, the manifesto showed solidarity against terrorism from border and criticized it in strict words. Explain that the theme of the manifesto was an earth, a family and a future.

Should not be double criteria: PM

Regarding the SCO summit held in Tianjin, Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal made a post on the X handle, in which he wrote that Prime Minister Modi addressed the 25th meeting of the Council of State. PM Modi highlighted the approach to strengthen cooperation under the SCO structure and urged to try separately on behalf of all countries under three pillars, safety, contact and opportunity. He called upon the member countries a firm and decisive action to fight all the terrorism in all form. Prime Minister Modi thanked for the solidarity of the member countries after the Pahalgam terror attack and urged that there should be no double standards in fighting terrorism.

Promotion of youth empowerment

Apart from this, the Prime Minister emphasized the need for coordinated action against funding and fundamentalism of terrorism. He urged the group that countries that promote and support terrorism across the border should be held accountable. At the same time, under the SCO development strategy in the conference, there was a useful discussion on improvement in global rule, anti-terrorism, peace and security, economic and financial support and sustainable development. At the same time highlighting the role of promotion of development and connectivity in confidence building, the Prime Minister said that Bharat strongly supports projects like Chabahar port and international North-South Transport Corridor. He also talked about opportunities in the areas of start-up, innovation, youth empowerment and shared heritage, which should be carried forward under the SCO.
