India-France Talks: Modi said that there was a very good conversation with the President Macron. We reviewed the progress in bilateral cooperation in various fields and evaluated it positively.
India-France Talks: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday apprised the French President Emmanuel Macron about the support of New Delhi for the peaceful solution to the Ukraine conflict, along with the two leaders positively evaluated the India-France strategic relations. After a phone conversation with Macron, Modi said that the strategic partnership between New Delhi and Paris will play an important role in promoting global peace and stability. The two leaders discussed the ongoing efforts to end the Ukraine struggle soon and the Prime Minister reiterated India’s call for early restoration of peace and stability in the region. Macron was among the present European leaders in the conversation between US President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodimir Zelanski at the White House last month.
Talk on economic, defense, science and technology

India in favor of peaceful solution

Two days before the Prime Minister’s meeting with Putin, Zelansky called Modi on last Saturday. After a phone conversation with Modi, Zelancesi said that India is ready to make necessary efforts and give appropriate indication to Russia. Modi said that India has been continuously calling for talks and diplomacy to end the Russia-Ukraine struggle. The meeting of several other European leaders with Putin took place a few days after the summit in Alaska, the main objective was to lay the foundation for ending the war in Ukraine.
