Other 15 districts – Varanasi, Bareilly, Meerut, Moradabad, Aligarh, Mathura, Azamgarh, Ayodhya, Banda, Mirzapur, Etawah, Saharanpur, Sitapur, Jaunpur and Bijnor – will get RDTC. Many centers will be operated under public-private partnership for rapid implementation and long-term stability. Officials insisted that both IDTR and RDTC will evaluate drivers on works such as automatic track parallel parking, reverse driving and starting on the hill, which will reduce human conscience and ensure fairness. Recognized certificates will be issued to successful candidates, which will simplify the driving license process. The government expects many benefits from this initiative, including better trained drivers, reduced domestic expenses from safe roads, less accidents, accidents and fuel waste, and better public transport and school security through certified buses and van drivers.

Skilled driver will be ready

These centers are also expected to create employment by preparing a series of skilled business drivers and trainers for logistics, mobility and electric vehicle sectors. Transparent fees structure, biometric appearance and digital dashboard will ensure accountability and eliminate middlemen. Transport Commissioner Brajesh Narayan Singh said that this initiative is a significant turn for road safety in the state. Officials said that the work of identifying the appropriate land parcels and preparing a detailed project report will start soon, which will take 18 to 24 months.
