1500 crore assistance
Prime Minister Modi has announced financial assistance of Rs 1500 crore for Himachal Pradesh. The second installment of SDRF and Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi will be released in advance. The Prime Minister has demanded to adopt several approaches to bring the entire region and people back on track. This work will be done in many ways such as reconstruction of houses through Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, renovation of national highways, reconstruction of schools, provisions under the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund and issuing mini kits for livestock.
Also met affected people
During this, PM Modi has met flood affected people. In this episode, he has expressed his condolences and sorrow to the families of those who lost their lives. He said that the central government will work with the state government in this difficult time and will provide all possible assistance.
