Poland-Russia Tensions: Poland’s armed forces were on the targets in Ukraine in the early morning and on Wednesday due to the possibility of major airstrikes.
Poland-Russia tensions: Poland has killed several Russian drones on an airspace violation. Poland has also issued a warning for its citizens. Poland said in the early hours of Wednesday that Russian drones violated its aerial areas. Due to which the country and its NATO colleagues have killed some drones that create threats directly. Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote on social media that a large number of Russian drones violated the airspace of Poland on Tuesday night. The drones that were causing a direct threat were killed. The armed forces of Poland were on the targets in Ukraine on Tuesday night and early Wednesday due to the possibility of major airstrikes. Defense Minister Vladislav Kosiniaq-Kamiz wrote on X that more than 10 drones entered the polish airspace, which was a threat to the safety of Poland, was killed.
Russia is provoking action: Poland
Warsaw’s Chopin Airport suspended flights for several hours citing the closure of the airspace due to military operations. Polish armed forces said on Wednesday morning that the search for potential accident sites is going on and urged people not to go to any item, do not touch it or not. Warned that they can create threats and may have dangerous materials. Poland says that Russian drones have already entered its airspace. Poland has earlier also complained about Russian items entering its airspace during attacks on Ukraine. In August, the Defense Minister of Poland said that a flying object crashed into a maize field in East Poland has been identified as a Russian drone. The Poland government called it an action of provocation by Russia.
Done losses due to drone attack
In March, after a Russian missile passed out of Polish airspace in western Ukraine for a while, Poland left Jet aircraft, and a missile in 2022, which was probably fired by Ukraine to stop the Russian attack, fell into Poland, killing two people. Russian attacks affected the central and western Ukraine. Russian drones injured three people in the western Khalamnitsi region of Ukraine. Its chief Serhi Turin wrote on Telegram on Wednesday morning. He said that a sewing factory was destroyed. A gas station and vehicles were damaged and the windows of several houses flew away. Regional administration chief Vitali Bunichko wrote on Telegram that one person was killed and one was injured in the Zetomir region, while houses and businesses were damaged. According to regional head Natalia Zabolotana, the Russian drone in the Vennitsia region damaged the civil and industrial infrastructure. About 30 residential buildings were damaged and one person was injured.
Joint military exercise of Russian and Belarusian soldiers
Regional head Ehor Taburates said that many houses and one electricity grids were damaged in the Russian attack in the Charakasi region. A shock wave in Zolotonosha district destroyed a barn, in which two cows died. On the other hand, the Russian Ministry of Defense said in its report on Wednesday morning that it destroyed 122 Ukrainian drones in various Russian areas throughout the night, including illegally occupied Crimea and Black Sea areas. Kyiv is worried about Russia-Bellars military exercise. A joint military exercise of Russian and Belarusian soldiers is scheduled to begin in Belarus from Friday and will run till 16 September. According to official reports, soldiers of the two countries will follow repeating the attack, including air strikes and sabotage, called “Zapad 2025” or “West 2025”. Its purpose is to display Russian military power along with close relations between Moscow and Minsk between the 3.5-year-old war in neighboring Ukraine.
