Terrorist Arrested: A Pakistan -based terrorist module was busted and five operatives were arrested after a coordinated raid in several states by special cells and central agencies of Delhi Police. An official said on Thursday that the module was planning a major attack in the country. The mastermind has been identified as Ashra Danish. He was arrested from Ranchi in Jharkhand, while two suspects Aftab and Sufiyan (both residents of Mumbai) were arrested from Delhi on Tuesday. The police officer said that the Mujpa was caught from Telangana, while another terrorist Kamran has also been arrested. He said that the leader of the module was known by various names like Danish CEO, Ghazba and Professor.
Several chemicals including sodium bicarbonate seized

Based on this information, raids were conducted at many places of the country. He said that in many places, a large amount of chemicals, ball bearings and other items used to make IEDs (IEDs) have been recovered in raids. He said that police teams have recovered Palpje and electronic equipment used in making IEDs. Several chemicals, gas masks, electric wires, fuse points, wires and other electrical appliances have been seized, including sodium bicarbonate. Police said that chemicals and other materials were recovered in the raid on Danish’s whereabouts in Ranchi, which is suspected to be used to make explosives.
All were in contact with Pakistan -based bosses
Police said that preliminary investigation shows that the module was in touch with the bosses in Pakistan and was preparing for a large -scale attack. The police officer also said that the bosses used only social media platforms for talks. The suspects are being questioned and efforts are on to find out their network, funding and possible goals. Police said the central agencies are analyzing digital equipment seized from the suspects and detecting their contacts and potential international relations. He said that the arrests have postponed a possible terrorist attack in the country. The police officer said that in view of the upcoming festivals, every suspect is being closely monitored. Strict security arrangements have been made across the country including Delhi.
