UP News: A three -month -old girl died in an animal attack in Bahraich, while an elderly woman was injured. The forest department has started investigation.

UP News: In Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh, people are living under the shadow of panic due to the terror of wild animals. The villagers are awake and protecting the family throughout the night. A three -month -old girl died in the attack of the people, while an elderly woman was injured. The families of the victims claimed that the attacks were carried out by the wolves. However, the forest department has not confirmed this yet. Kaiserganj Range officer Omkar Nath Yadav said that in the first incident, Sandhya, the newborn daughter of an unidentified wild animal Dinesh Tiwari, took away from the verandah of her house in Gorwar village of Mahsi tehsil at around 3.30 am when she was sleeping with her mother. On receiving the information, the officials of the forest department reached the spot with the police and started the search with the help of drone equipped with thermal camera. He told that his chopped head was found in a field near the house on Friday morning.

Forest department put a cage near the village

Range officer Yadav said that after the incident, a large number of gathered in the rural areas, which erased the footprints of the animal. He said that efforts are being made to catch the animal by putting a cage near the village. The second attack took place on Thursday evening in Babhanwa village of Kaiserganj tehsil, when 60 -year -old Shiv Pyari was feeding the cow in the courtyard of his house. A wild animal attacked him from behind, injuring him. Range officer Yadav said that Shiv Pyari was initially taken to the local primary health center, from where he was referred to Bahraich Medical College for further treatment. His son Rakesh Kumar and grandson Rajkumar told media persons in the hospital that the wild animal was a man -eating wolf. He also claimed that he had seen the attacking animal.

Advice not to leave homes alone

Additional Chief Conservator of Uttar Pradesh (Central Region), Renu Singh and Devi Pattan Mandal’s Forest Conservator Simran M inspected the village of Paragpurwa in the district, where on September 9, the dead body of a four-year-old girl was found, which was attacked by a wild animal. Range officer Yadav said that five cages have been installed at the attack places to catch the wild animal. And special search operations are being carried out at all places with the help of drone cameras and experts. Villagers are being made aware to stay away from areas where sugarcane crop is in abundance. They are also being advised not to leave their homes alone. Keep the doors of your homes closed and do not sleep outside the house. The range official said that between August 28 and September 12, two children were killed and five villagers were injured in seven incidents of unidentified wild animals attack.
