Regarding the tour, Secretary Puneet Kumar Goyal said in Imphal that this tour will open the paths of peace, generality and development in the state. The opposition is constantly seen as aggressive and criticizing Prime Minister Modi’s visit. Violence erupted in Manipur two years ago between Kuki and Maetai community. Many people lost their lives in this violent quarrel and thousands of people were displaced.

Will inaugurate railway line

PM Modi will visit Manipur and Mizoram. In this episode, he will inaugurate the Bairabi-Giranrang railway line project. From the Peace Ground of Churachandpur in Manipur, they will lay the foundation for development projects worth Rs 7,300 crore. At the same time, the Prime Minister is going to inaugurate infrastructure projects worth Rs 1,200 crore in Maetai -dominated Imphal.

Also, it has been advised not to bring children who are less than 12 years and not bringing sick persons to the venue.

Opposition is criticizing

In such a situation, Congress MP and former party president Rahul Gandhi welcomed the PM’s visit to Manipur. He said that the problem of Manipur has been going on for a long time, it is good that they are going now. On the other hand, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh has targeted the preparations for Modi’s visit. He said that this tour will be only three hours and this will insult the people of Manipur. Jairam Ramesh posted on social media and said that this tour shows the lack of sensitivity of the Prime Minister towards the people of Manipur.
