Parliament House: The safety of the Parliament House complex will be hi -tech. For this, a tender of Rs 14.63 crore has been withdrawn. The last date for submission of bid is 18 September. Electric fence will be installed in the Parliament House complex. In addition, the campus will be equipped with fiber optic-based perimeter infiltration identification system (PIDS) and a centralized video management system (VMS). The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) has issued an tender for the implementation of the project, which is an estimated cost of about Rs 14.63 crore. The last date for submission of bid is 18 September. According to the tender document, video integration between the perimeter electrical fence solution and CCTV should be completely seamless and the matters of multiple infiltration should be completely covered. The project is expected to be completed in four months from the date of commencement of the project.
Dignitaries have to take care
The purview of the work includes removal of existing power fences and related accessories, new electric power fence SITC, optical fiber -based PIDS, integrated CCTV monitoring system with VMS and the boundary of Parliament House Complex of Parliament House Complex of Length of the required area and inclusive integration of all these systems with each other. It states that the design of pillars and posts is required to take approval from PSS/CPWD.
