Congress Working Committee Meeting: On Wednesday, Patna is completely painted in the color of Congress. Sadaqat Ashram, where once the echo of the Jayaprakash movement was heard, is now witness to the meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC). The top leaders of the party including Rahul Gandhi have gathered here. The atmosphere is electoral and agenda too. At the same time, outside the BJP has started tightening through posters on the grand alliance. The atmosphere of Patna has become completely like an electoral battle amidst political attacks and counter -attacks. Meanwhile, Congress leader Salman Khurshid said, “After so many years, the CWC meeting is being held in Bihar. I am confident that good signs will come out from here. Rahul Gandhi and our colleagues have worked hard for change. Now Bihar needs change.
Emperor Chaudhary’s political attack
On the other hand, on behalf of BJP, Deputy Chief Minister Emperor Chaudhary attacked Congress and Rahul Gandhi fiercely. He said that Bihar needs mature politics, not the novice. He described the Congress as a representative of the monarchy and also took sarcasm at Lalu Yadav. He tried to strengthen his side by counting issues like Nitish government’s functioning, introduction of medical colleges and BJP’s Mandal Commission support.
Why is Patna important?
The politics of Bihar has been the land of caste equations and mass struggles. In such a situation, the Congress has a big meeting here, a clear sign that the party does not want to leave any stone unturned about Bihar elections. This meeting of Patna has given a new political platform to the Congress. The question is whether this passion will reach the public or will the BJP-JDU be heavy?
