The Federal Investigation Agency (ED) may soon issue a temporary attachment order to attach these movable and immovable properties under the Money Prevention Act (PMLA), including some assets located in countries such as UAE. The finance and evaluation of these properties is still going on.

Sources said that these assets earned or created from money refinement are classified as the income of crime. These properties are attached so that a person involved in this crime cannot enjoy such assets. He informed that after issuing attachment order, it will be sent to the judging authority under the PMLA for confirmation and after getting the approval, a charge sheet will be filed in a specified court to seize these properties. In the last few weeks, the ED has questioned actors Sonu Sood, Mimi Chakraborty (former TMC MP) and Ankush Hazra (Bengali Cinema) as part of cricketers like Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Robin Uthappa and Shikhar Dhawan under this investigation. Some online influential people were also questioned. The agency recorded the statements of these celebrities under Section 50 of the PMLA. Sources said that many of them handed over the details of accounts and transactions, through which they allegedly received their support fee from the online platform, handed over to the investigating officer of the case.

Sought email and paper documents
