Yogi adityanath: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday called upon all urban local bodies to try to create a developed India by 2047. Adityanath, while addressing more than 13,800 elected representatives including the mayors and presidents of 17 municipal corporations, 200 municipal councils and 545 nagar panchayats through a video link. He said that the punch principles mentioned by the Prime Minister during the Amrit Festival of independence include pride on our heritage, ending the mentality of slavery, respecting those who protect the nation, promoting unity and fulfilling their civil duties. If these five principles are adopted at every level of governance, then no one can stop India from becoming a developed nation by 2047. Chief Minister Yogi claimed that India has taken significant changes under the leadership of Narendra Modi in the last 11 years and has emerged as a major global economic power.
The best infrastructure in the country in the state
He said that India’s notion has changed in the global region. Every field is experiencing unprecedented success. CM Adityanath said that no one wanted to invest in the state before he came to power in UP in 2017, but the situation has changed since his arrival. He said that in 2017, no one wanted to invest in UP due to poor roads, incredible power supply and lack of security. Today is the best infrastructure in the country in UP, with the highest expressway network, better interstate connectivity and four -lane contact with every district headquarters. He said that now six cities are connected to metro rail. There is the first inland waterway between Varanasi and Haldia and the country’s first rapid rail system is in UP. He said that today the state has received investment proposals of Rs 45 lakh crore. Out of these, the foundation of projects worth Rs 15 lakh crore has been laid, which has created employment opportunities for more than 7 lakh youth.
Development work changed the image of the state
CM Adityanath said that eight years ago, Uttar Pradesh’s gross state domestic product (GSDP) was Rs 12.75 lakh crore, which is expected to increase to Rs 35-36 lakh crore by the end of this financial year. He said that per capita income has increased from Rs 43,000 to Rs 1.20 lakh during the same period. He claimed that a district of his government has been successful and currently more than 2 crore people are associated with it. He said that the state is the same, but the results are now very different. Said that more than 66 crore people participated in the Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj. He said that development works in all municipal bodies and urban local bodies have completely changed the image of the state. The priest-royalty said that 14 lakh CCTV cameras have been installed in urban local bodies across the state with the contribution of both the police department and private institutions. Adityanath said that no one can call Uttar Pradesh a ‘sick’ state today. It has become the development engine of the nation.
