Kisan Nidhi Yojana: CM Bhajanlal said that under the fourth installment of Chief Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Rs 717.96 crore will be transferred to the bank accounts of farmers from Nadbai in Bharatpur district.
Kisan Nidhi Yojana: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma is going to give a big gift to the farmers before Diwali. On October 18, the Chief Minister will transfer Rs 717.96 crore to the bank accounts of farmers under the fourth installment of Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana from Nadbai in Bharatpur district. Meanwhile, Cooperation and Civil Aviation Minister Gautam Kumar Dak said that this initiative is being taken to directly benefit the rural farmers and at the same time, continuous efforts are being made to strengthen the farmers. He said that this scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the year 2019 is a historic step towards providing direct financial assistance to small and marginal farmers.
Farmers will benefit from the scheme
He told that on August 2 this year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had released the 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, under which Rs 20,500 crore was distributed to 9.7 crore farmers across the country. Gautam Kumar Dak further said that Rajasthan has implemented the Chief Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on June 30, 2024, under which the annual assistance amount has been increased from Rs 6 thousand to Rs 8 thousand and it was planned to increase it to Rs 9 thousand from the financial year 2025-26.
Only farmers’ income will increase
The Minister of Cooperation and Civil Aviation said that the farmers of Rajasthan will now be given financial assistance of Rs 9000 per year through the transparent Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system under the joint initiative of the Center and the State. Dak said that through such schemes, not only the income of farmers will increase, but the rural economy will also be strengthened. He said that till now more than 71.79 lakh farmers have been benefited in Rajasthan under the Central Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme. He further said that grassroots level workers and local representatives are actively spreading awareness about the scheme in the villages to ensure wide participation.
