Bihar Election 2025 : With the announcement of the dates of Bihar Assembly elections 2025, political parties have started their election campaign. In this series, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also launched the election campaign from Muzaffarpur on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Kumar attacked his rival Lalu Prasad Yadav and said that Lalu has not done anything for women. Also accused of supporting his wife Rabri Devi when she left the post after the charge sheet was filed in the fodder scam. Let us tell you that the JDU President, who is trying to come to power for the fifth consecutive time, addressed his first election rally in Meenapur constituency of Muzaffarpur district.
Attention given to women empowerment
Nitish Kumar said that work is being done for women empowerment through the formation of self-help groups on a large scale and the recently launched Chief Minister Mahila Rozgar Yojana. Under this, Rs 10,000 each have been transferred to the accounts of more than one crore beneficiaries. He compared with the previous government and asked whether they had done anything for women? Because they do not care about the development of women. Nitish Kumar said that after serving as the Chief Minister for seven years, when such a situation arose that leaving the post could not be avoided, then his wife was made the Chief Minister.
Had to make alliance under compulsion
Let us tell you that Lalu Prasad Yadav became the Chief Minister in 1990 and he remained on this post till 1997. During this time, allegations were made against him regarding the fodder scam and he had to leave the post, after which his wife Rabri Devi, who had no interest in politics at that time and was a housewife, was made the Chief Minister. Then in those days there was a lot of controversy over this. After this, Nitish Kumar defeated RJD in the 2005 assembly elections by forming an alliance with BJP. Nitish Kumar also remembered these days in the rally held on Tuesday. Apart from this, regarding the two-time alliance with JDU with Tejashwi Yadav, Nitish Kumar said that due to circumstances I had to form an alliance with those people, but it did not take me long to understand that they were of no use. Now I am back in NDA forever.
Told about the infrastructure of the state
Nitish Kumar also spoke in detail about the efforts made by his government to improve infrastructure, education and healthcare in the state. He also tried to draw people’s attention to the fact that before NDA came to power, there was an atmosphere of terror in Bihar due to poor law and order and alleged protection of criminals by those in power. But now it has to be seen how much things have changed in Bihar and we should continue to work like this and move forward rapidly towards big changes.
