Akhilesh Yadav: Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav claimed on Thursday that BJP is using JDU leader Nitish Kumar to win Bihar Assembly elections. Said that after the elections he will not be allowed to remain the Chief Minister. He said that Bihar is demanding change and wants to move towards a better and prosperous future. He claimed that RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav will become the Chief Minister after the Grand Alliance wins the elections. Speaking to reporters in Ghazipur, targeting Nitish Kumar, Yadav said that he is definitely the ‘election groom’ of the BJP, but he is not the ‘groom’ for the post of Chief Minister. He said that BJP is using Nitish Kumar as part of a conspiracy. Bharatiya Janata Party was making him the face of the post of Prime Minister. Today he is only a face for elections.
The people of Bihar know everything
The former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh further said that I am telling you again, the people of Bihar know everything. Even leaders from opposition forums are saying that Nitish Kumar has been brought only for election purposes. Yadav predicted that the BJP would not make Kumar the chief minister after the elections. He claimed that you can ask on what basis I am saying this. Look what happened in Maharashtra and other states. The people who were projected as faces before the elections were not made Chief Ministers later. Same thing will happen in Bihar also. Giving his full support to RLD leader Tejashwi Yadav, the Samajwadi Party chief said that Tejashwi Yadav is going to become the Chief Minister. We are all in his support. We are not only supporting him, but we are also ready to help in running the government in every possible way. To guide them and assist them wherever needed. Accusing the Election Commission of not working impartially, he said that BJP wants to commit a scam in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list.
Election Commission is not impartial
He said that the Election Commission does not work impartially. It is the responsibility of the Election Commission to maintain an accurate voter list and ensure that every vote is cast. But do you really see fairness? Look at any by-election or even general election in Uttar Pradesh. The Election Commission works with bias and that is why such allegations are made. He said that BJP wants to do scam in SIR. Check the list of booth level officers to see if there is even a single name of PDA (Backward, Dalit, Minority) community. Akhilesh Yadav said that BJP cannot fight against the unity and strength of PDA. Voting in Bihar will be held on 6 and 11 November and the results will be declared on 14 November. The opposition grand alliance, in which RJD, Congress and Left parties are the main constituents, has declared RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav as its chief ministerial candidate.
