Congress Party: On the question of ban on RSS, Kharge said that my personal opinion is that most of the problems and law and order problems in the country are caused by RSS-BJP.
Congress Party : Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that my personal opinion is that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) should be banned. The matter is that the open challenge to law and order across the country comes only from the RSS. Kharge also hit back at the Prime Minister’s statement on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He cited the statement of Sardar Patel in which he had criticized RSS after the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi.
Iron Lady contributed to the unity of the country
On the question of ban on RSS, Kharge said that my personal opinion is that most of the problems in the country and the biggest problem with law and order are caused by RSS-BJP. He said that today the country is celebrating the birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Patel and the death anniversary of Indira Gandhi. These two leaders, an ‘Iron Man’ and an ‘Iron Lady’ had made important contributions to the unity and integrity of the country. Apart from this, the Congress President mentioned a letter in which Sardar Patel had written to Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. In this letter, Patel had said that RSS created such an environment in the country, due to which a tragedy like the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi was possible.
Patel and Nehru respected each other
The Congress President said that BJP always tries to create such an environment in the country that there were deep differences between Nehru and Patel, while both of them respected each other a lot. Nehru had praised Patel for his role in uniting the country. On the other hand, Patel had described Nehru as an ideal leader. Kharge was responding to the Prime Minister’s comment in which he had said that Sardar Patel wanted to include Jammu and Kashmir in India, but Nehru was not allowed to do so. Modi had also said that Congress has also assimilated the slavery mentality inherited from the British, while the colonial mark is being erased in the country.
