During this period, BSE Sensex index started the trading day with a fall of 103.61 points at 83,835.10. At the same time, NSE Nifty 50 also opened trading in the red at 25,696.85 with a slippage of 25.25 points. During this period, only 3 shares from BSE basket were trading in the green.

At the same time, in the last trading session of the week i.e. on Friday 31st October, there was a strong decline in the Indian stock market and both the major indices closed trading at the red mark. During this period, Sensex fell by 465.75 points and closed at 83,938.71 points, while Nifty 50 fell by 155.75 points and closed at 25,722.10.

Whereas, on Friday, TCS, ITC, SBIN were among the top gainers from BSE basket. Whereas, if we talk about top losers, they included Eternal, NTPC, Kotak Bank, ICICI Bank and Power Grid. Nifty FMCG, Nifty IT, Nifty Smallcap, Nifty Midcap, Nifty Bank, Nifty 100 and Nifty Auto closed in the red.
