Choose good quality seeds
- There are two types of gram, small gram and chickpea. You do not need to worry much about growing greens, you can buy any good quality gram seeds.
- If you have a garden in your house, then it is very good. You can grow gram greens in the garden of your house or if you want, you can bring a seed tray and grow gram in it too. Apart from this, you can also grow vegetables in a pot.
- Keep in mind that your soil should be fertile and capable of draining water. Add fertilizer to the soil according to its fertility. After this, put that soil in a seeds tray or pot. There should be space for water to drain in the pot.

- After this, plant gram seeds at a distance of three inches. This plant spreads and grows like a bush, so it needs space to grow. If your seeds are small then plant them one inch inside the soil and if your seeds are big then plant them inside 2 inches of soil.
- After this, add some water to the soil to give it moisture. Water the plants 3-4 days a week. Be careful not to add too much water, otherwise the plants may get damaged. Keep the gram plant in such a place that it gets sunlight for 5-6 hours.
Greens will be ready in 25 to 30 minutes
- You will not have to wait long to eat gram greens. Gram seeds take 3 to 5 days to germinate. After taking care for 25 to 30 days, gram greens are ready for plucking.
- When this plant becomes 8 to 10 inches tall and its leaves become dense, then you can pluck it. You can break off the part 2 inches above the soil. Leaves will start growing again from the remaining part. After this, prepare delicious greens from plucked leaves and eat them.
