Also shared many old pictures of the family. In this post, remembering his life partner, he wrote that it is impossible to express this loss in words. Dharmendra was not only her husband, but also her partner, advisor, friend and her support in every difficult time.

Hema Malini wrote- My personal loss cannot be expressed. The void created by his departure will last throughout his life. She told that after spending many decades together, now only memories are left, which she is keeping herself strong by reliving again and again. Remembering Dharmendra, Hema Malini wrote- He was a lot for me. A loving husband, father of two daughters Isha and Ahana, my friend, philosopher, guide, poet and my go-to person in all times of need. He always stood by me in good and bad times.

Hema told that Dharmendra was very dear to everyone in the family because of his simplicity and good behaviour. Let us tell you that the health of Dharmendra, who would turn 90 on December 8, was deteriorating for some time. His last rites were performed very simply at Pawan Hans crematorium in Mumbai. The family also kept his illness and last days private.

The very next day after this news, Dharmendra was discharged from the hospital and was brought home. Dharmendra breathed his last at his home.
